I don't think there's anything wrong with opening games up to more audiences, especially in a time when entire dev teams are being laid off and studios are closing. I understand the frustration with lack of new announcements but there were several games in this Direct that I have not played, or were unsure on platform preference, and now will consider playing on my Switch 2 for portability and convenience, like Digimon Time Stranger and Pragmata. 3. Also, this shit is competitive. There's dozens of new games that release every week so seeing Resident Evil for the 8th time is part of the marketing strategy.
