Tom Pett played really well in a struggling League One side when he came in last year and ran the show in games like Reading at home. Comes on today and changes the game. How a competent League One player isn't starting in this side is beyond me. #ctfc

@ctfc_hEaLeR Then I struggle with that decision. Can't know everything that goes on behind the scenes but he looked promising to me as a deep lying playmaker type. Don't expect him to start every game but he's deserving of a bench place. Nice to see Archer start at least

@GabSutton @IronRyan96 Can't disagree that the press suffers when he's on, probably why he won't start many games. It'll be interesting to see if Miller comes in after a few more weeks with the squad

@LunarDevices @IronRyan96 I felt that when Taylor came on for Dulson against Newport, the level of pressing dropped off a cliff. Oppo centre-backs had the freedom of the Cotswolds. Taylor will score the most goals per 90 of the four though.

@GabSutton @IronRyan96 You either really like the look of Dulson, or don't rate our forwards at all! I'd go: Taylor, Dulson, Bowman, Miller for the same reasons as Ryan. Taylor has a goalscoring instinct I've yet to see in the others

HT 0-2 Woeful opening 5 minutes, City have taken their foot off the gas but can punish again if they want to. Succeeded in not collapsing further. The main takeaway so far is that given the turnover of players, this #ctfc squad is looking very far from a 'team'. Lots to do.
