we HAD this before, with discriminators (the 4 numbers that used to be at the end of usernames)
this basically undoes what the discriminator update was trying to do (making it easier to add people)

@Lunar_Protogen unless someone decides to take a shot at reverse engineering hyperion and replicating what roblox expects (which is a pain in the ass, not to mention the possible risks). this is the only option for now besides sober.
