@NatesHiddenGems Not my favourite band, but I really think Carlos Cavazo is underrated. And I still love Cum On Feel The Noize and Metal Health. The solo on Cum On Feel The Noize is one of the best ever even though it’s quite simple and not too hard to play

I UNDERSTAND the historical significance of this album, I do. But a part of me also thinks “Wait…THIS was the first ‘Heavy Metal’ album to get to #1?” I’m not saying it’s a bad album, far from it. I just think other albums were WAY MORE worthy of that title. That being said…this album is pretty good😂 It’s not perfect, but I can definitely see the appeal. I actually think Carlos Cavazo does a really good job of keeping the same energy that was left behind by Randy Rhodes. Now he’s clearly not as good of a player, but it terms of keeping the same energy that was there from the first two albums, he definitely holds his own! My opinion has not changed on ‘Metal Health’ or ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’. I never need to hear either of those songs ever again. Call me crazy, but ‘Don’t Wanna Let You Go’ might be my favorite song on the album!😂 It’s the most melodic and I think it’s SUPER catchy, especially the muted guitars! ‘Slick Black Cadillac’ is still pretty kick ass, even though the lyrics are STUPID AS FUCK😂 ‘Love’s A Bitch’ is alright. ‘Breathless’ is another one of my favorites. KILLER groove on that song. ‘Run For Cover’ is BLISTERING too. Overall, I like about half of this album. What did I expect going back into it? Maybe to like more of it? I don’t know…I’ve definitely found songs I really like. But an album that THIS well known and iconic…maybe I was expecting more…🤷🏼‍♂️

Great find today! Icon's 1984 self titled debut album. Japanese promo copy with obi and the media kit. Massively underrated band that put out 3 great albums in the 80s. If you haven't heard their music , do yourself a favor and check them out. Killer melodic hard rock

On this day back in good ol' 1989, this awesome debut was released...this started what has become an almost 40 year love of this band! although not my favorite Warrant album, to this day I still love it and play it frequently....Happy 37th Anniversary D.R.F.S.R🤘
