Oh my word! We are in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We called an Uber. And our driver arrives with this plate. He is Shaun from Benoni. He has been here for 20 years! He is as thrilled as we are! A small, intimate beach town, and here we are!

Reverend Motlalepula Chabaku (1925 - 2012) was a South African anti-apartheid activist, politician, teacher, and theologian. Chabaku Joined the African National Congress (ANC) in 1949 at just 15 years old, serving alongside leaders like Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu. She was one of the founders of the Black Federation of South African Women and was one of the last surviving leaders of the historic 1956 Women's March, where 20,000 women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest against discriminatory apartheid pass laws. Mina Thembeka Soga (1893-1981) was born in the Queenstown district of the eastern Cape. After a Scottish Presbyterian mission education, she became a schoolteacher, fully involved in the social life of the community. She attended the 1938 Tambaram meeting of the International Missionary Council as an official delegate, the first African woman to represent the continent at a world missionary conference. She made a notable contribution to the conference on the theme of the Africanization of the inner life of the church, which to her was a clear priority. From Tambaram she journeyed via the Red Sea and Egypt to the United States, where she brought a forceful message about the deprivation of black South Africans. After her return to Africa from the United States, she continued to work in the Eastern Cape as teacher and social worker, concerning herself especially with the plight of blind Africans. @ermiasby I will make sure I do. Thank you. I missed the original post. I saw your post only and thought you were referring to the Xhosa regalia as having originated from the Scottish. Hence my response.

@LusieH Next time, read to understand. 😂 The video I posted has nothing to do with Scottish attire. The point was that he’s Xhosa. The tweet l replied to is the one where he’s wearing a Scottish kilt. Thats why l asked what are we suppossed to say because what he is wearing is normal
