@OctorokR I was 100% certain the Ganondorf in the trailers would be the exact same character as in OoT/TP, and that TotK would tie Zonai to TP lore, maybe even MM. It had those vibes in the trailers.

Well I speak with the authority of having actually 100-percented the game (yes, even the Korok seeds), and I say: the lore in TotK is so incomplete, simplistic, and uninteresting that the quantity of it means nothing to most people. Why get invested in a story no one cares about?

It's crazy how much lore from TotK people skipped out on because of "Secret Stone? Demon King?" It's arguable that no single Zelda game has dropped more lore, explicitly AND implicitly, than TotK. I say this w/ authority, producing a 10 pt video series on the founding in TotK.
