Guys, Japan’s current prime minister is happily following the fucking bullshit of Trump and Netanyahu’s war on Iran, never criticizing them, while refusing to negotiate with Iranian ministers who have openly said they are open to negotiations. As a result, Japan is facing a serious crisis in fossil fuel resources. This totally reminds me of Plato’s saying: “One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” (Though that saying also reveals another problem in Plato’s political philosophy — the way it values people based on “stupidity” and “intelligence.”) However, I don’t think we should entirely abandon the word and concept of “stupidity” — it can still be useful in shaping the common sense and ethics of our society. Stupidity is clinging to power. And in that sense, the current prime minister’s behavior is fucking stupid.
