4/4 Sadly our area result wasn’t what we hoped for but we were proud of our performance & would like to say a special thanks to Dave Barringer, who pushed & encouraged us to be the best we can. Congratulations to the prize winners; we now turn to Spring Festival preparations! 🎶

3/4 We would like to thank Steve for his commitment & contributions over the years as a truly fantastic trombone player & a simply wonderful human being. We are sure that his formal ‘retirement’ won’t be a complete end & we hope to see him with us from time to time in the future.

1/4 What a milestone to recognise for our trombone player, Steve Schramm, whose performance last weekend marked a 40 year association with Lydbrook Band. Sadly, Steve has decided to retire from competitive banding and he will be greatly missed by the entire Lydbrook family.

Merry Christmas from everyone at Lydbrook Band! Almost 30 players from both the training band and senior band turned out this morning to entertain the local community - a tradition that has been going for over 100 years!

Lydbrook Band are featured in Church Music Quarterly, an article about musical collaborations exploring @surtaalsymphony, a project co-created by @llizlane & @rsvpbhangraband. Lydbrook Band commissioned & performed music for Proms in the Park @thespeechhousehotel in 2018 & 2022.

Lydbrook Training Band had a wonderfully festive evening last night entertaining the local community in Lydbrook Church along with children from Lydbrook School. It even snowed for the occasion! ❄️
