So it appears as if the fuel price isn’t actually linked to the oil price but is merely another lever for specific individuals to make a lot of money on the back of narrative based panic. Thus for no mathematical reason the fuel price will continue to rise ridiculously until the public either just accepts their new reality or until they start asking questions and refusing to abide by the con. Then normality will return while the middle class has taken yet another massive hit to their wealth. It’s quite incredible how this keeps happening and will continue to do so because the average person is both perpetually fascinated by the current thing and essentially unable to think outside of this one moment in time. It’s so tiresome.

In 2018, South African cyclist Shaun Wayne was stabbed in the head during an attack while riding to work, then cycled to the doctor with the knife still in his skull. He calmly walked in, and politely asked to see a doctor. The blade bent when it hit bone, and missed everything vital. Absolute legend. It happened on the same road in Cape Town where other cyclists were targeted days before.

The judge who sentenced the EFF leader Julius Malema to five years imprisonment for shooting into the air has erred because the punishment does not fit the crime, if one can deem it a crime. The Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema in his political freedom song lyrics talks about “kill the Boer” but when it comes to using his gun he shoots into the air. Although Malema talks tough he is not a violent person. Therefore, the courts as you rightly pointed out showed their prejudice against the EFF leader Malema. The court who sentenced should reverse their verdict as a miscarriage of justice.

No court, acting carefully, will overturn her judgement for its solid on material facts & applicable law. I said the same about Zuma's contempt bathi ndiphambene. The only tweak may be in the sentence but even that, it will not favour him much...either reduced to 2yrs or added
