Don't forget to check out my mock 3.0 for the #Chiefs on @ArrowheadAddict.
Last year my final mock I predicted 2 players exactly that the Chiefs drafted and went 4/4 with the positions they drafted with the first 4 picks.

@Kevinfr82173678 @ArrowheadAddict 1. I feel like I was pretty fair in listing his positives and what keeps him just short of the top LBs (he's never made a Pro Bowl or All Pro).
2. His cap hit is over $19 million this season. That's #2 in the NFL for a LB this season.

@ArrowheadAddict @LyleGraversen This article says Nick Bolton is getting top dollar and goes on to under rate him. He's NOT getting top dollar for LBs and he's worth every dollar he does get. Spags gushes about him all the time and his work is proven. Bad article

Jauan Jennings looks like a nice second-wave fit for the Chiefs in free agency (via @LyleGraversen) arrowheadaddict.com/jauan-jennings…

This is my question too. If all KC os paying is $3 million, this is a slam dunk great move. If they end up paying the $3 million guaranteed and $10 million more in base salary AND gave up a pick, I like it a lot less.
Chris@ChrisClarkNFL
Definitely a great move for KC. Wondering how it works out because his contract was $10 million guaranteed but a base of $20 million. So is there a restructure there to be just $3 million guaranteed?
English

@DTLB58 I know about the void years, but his 2026 cap hit was $23 million. $3 million for signing bonus which doesn't carry over in trade, then reports said Jets were paying $7 million of his guaranteed salary (with KC paying $3 million), but he also had $10 million more in base for 26.
English

@LyleGraversen Yeah, new contract is just 1 year $3 million. Period.
All the rest of his years are voided.

@LyleGraversen @RealMNchiefsfan If Kohou plays in the slot, where does Conner play??
English

@ArrowheadAddict I'm going to go out on a limb and say those offers were practice squad/training camp invite level offers, but I could certainly be wrong.

@LyleGraversen Watch them bring back Juju n Hollywood
English

Just a reminder that Juju played 620 offensive snaps for the Chiefs last year. Thornton had just 368.
Juju: 345 yards, 1 touchdown
Thornton: 438 yards, 3 touchdowns
There is so much room for his role to grow. I love this signing, especially if they actually have a plan for him.

Chiefs, WR Tyquan Thornton agree to two-year, $11M deal with a max value of $14M. (via @MikeGarafolo)
English

@LeeCEldridge I agree to an extent. Juju's primary job was as a blocker, but he still took a lot of snaps at the X spot, just as a blocking X. If you go back to the MVS days they used the X as a deep threat/field stretcher more often. I think we could see more of that again this year.
English

@LyleGraversen They had completely different roles. JuJu isn’t what kept Thornton off the field. Hollywood was.
English

@kcwolfpac79 @Conner_DKC My stance is and will remain, only if he takes a team friendly deal. If he's looking for the team that will pay him the most it shouldn't be KC.
