On the podcast today, I talked about how everyone is underemphasizing just how worn out the Chiefs were from seven consecutive deep playoff runs. Basically unprecedented. You look at the NBA, and how there hasn’t been any repeat champions for the last eight years or something. Playing significantly more games than your competition is a disadvantage. It breaks you down. Wears you out — physically, mentally and emotionally. Give you less time to prepare. Gives everyone else more film to study. I just don’t think we’re talking about this enough. I could see a refreshed and properly prepared Chiefs organization restoring order fairly quickly.

Now that I am home and dry my training camp observations: - Delane and Nohl Williams firmly CB1 and 2 all practice - Benson got all 1st team looks at RT though not sure he looked great - Walker and Demarcado almost exclusively with the 1st team -Rice and Sneed weren’t participating likely due to injury recovery - Mahomes was on the move lots looks like they were trying hard to get him more comfortable -CRW leads the nickel race -Simmons looks as good as ever and weight looks just fine.
