It still doesn't feel quite real being here, in NH. It only began to truly set in today that I'm free, I'm here and I'll continue to make myself and everyone around me freer by being here. The land is beautiful and bountiful, the people are better than anywhere else on Earth.

Overhead garage doors never really look good. Go for these instead. You can put an opener on this style of door as well and they aren’t expensive ($500-700)

@frontierism It doesn't make sense to anyone, but it's the only argument they have, and a bad plan is better than no plan at all.

@VigilantFox We've always taken what's in your mind into account when interpreting the law. Every crime has two parts: Actus Reus, the act itself, and Mens Rea, intent. Thought crime ignores the Actus Reus part, but hate crime doesn't.

Actor Seth Green thought Bill Maher would love to hear how Trump inspired him to read 1984. What happened next was something he didn’t expect. Instead of trashing Trump, Maher flipped the script and gave Green a blunt observation about “liberal dogma” that he had “never thought about in that way.” It all started when Green brought up “thought crime.” GREEN: “When was the last time you read 1984? I read it in 2016 when Trump was running… But the main thing was getting down to thought crime… where you thinking something is an arrestable offense.” MAHER: “But that’s a hate crime.” GREEN: “Well, this is it, right? We’re edging that territory.” MAHER: “We’re not edging. It’s been decades since we said we believe in this country that there is such a thing as a hate crime. Now, that’s basic liberal dogma. I consider myself a liberal, but I never agreed with that. A hate crime is a thought crime. It’s a thought crime, and I don’t think we should go down that slope. A crime is a crime. If you kill somebody, you should be punished for it. The law should not be involved in what is in your mind.” GREEN: “I hadn’t really thought about it that way, but that’s a fair point.”

@WomanDefiner And Republicans did the same thing in Texas. You really need to get out of your right/left, Republican/Democrat false binary mode of thinking.

Minnesota was 90% White in 2000, In 2030 it will be 50% White. Democrats did that.

@WomanDefiner How so? You mean republicans. Look at Minnesota citizens gunned down on the street, detention camps where people are actively dying, you people are such dumb sheep.

Tucker Carlson to Trump: You can’t invade countries to steal their stuff… that’s theft. If the new law is ‘I can take it because I want it,’ the tables will be turned. What we do will be done unto us.

READ. THE. BILL. BEFORE. YOU. OPEN. YOUR. MOUTH. Calling the DIGNITY Act “amnesty” isn’t just wrong. It’s a deliberate distortion and it exposes just how little you know about the bill. This is enforcement first: zero tolerance for criminals, permanent border security, and hard, earned requirements to step forward and face the law, so American workers are protected, not undercut. Amnesty is the chaos you’ve defended, millions in the shadows, no control, no accountability, and a system that stopped working a long time ago. No shortcuts. No giveaways. No blanket forgiveness. That’s law and order. That’s DIGNITY.
Congressman Brandon Gill@RepBrandonGill

The Dignity Act is mass amnesty and would constitute a terrible betrayal of our voters.

Ok so you think the government is running a bipartisan campaign to turn kids liberal, but somehow they still let people homeschool. Kind of kills the whole theory. If anything, a government actually trying to psyop kids would ban homeschooling, like a lot of countries already do. This just sounds like a pretty lazy conspiracy.

Teenagers are sharing photos of their AP U.S. Government textbooks, and the sheer amount of indoctrination is wildly disturbing. Apparently, Barack Obama is ideologically a right wing authoritarian. Hillary Clinton and George W Bush are entirely indistinguishable politically. Donald Trump is of course virtually the same as Hitler. @tedcruz is apparently more radically authoritarian than Fidel Castro AND Joseph Stalin..??!!?? @Linda_McMahon — can we expedite some major changes to American public education?

@flowersslop @IterIntellectus Ok, now it's the second dumbest thing I've read this week. x.com/theisabelb/sta… "the sheer amount of indoctrination is wildly disturbing." If you can't intuit why the barriers to entry for teaching suddenly went up, you're not tall enough for this ride.

@ChristianHeiens With everything you know about voter fraud, you're going to stand there with a straight face and tell me that any of that matters? The Democrats are going to take back the house because they're going to steal every single seat they can get away with.

You'd think from reading comments on the internet that the generic ballot is D+25 and that we're heading to a 1932-style wipeout followed by a thousand year libtard reich. The reality is that Democrats have probably about a 75-80% chance of flipping the House in November because there has almost always been a backlash against the party in the White House. When you add on to that the party realignment where Democrats have consolidated support around the demographics that have the highest turnout rates, combined with redistricting and the war in Iran, it's clear that they're overwhelming favorites. But it's also clear that Democrats are deeply unpopular, and they're on track to win in spite of their own unpopularity, not because the general public has suddenly come around to falling in love with the party's platform for gay race communism.

Masters of Social Work are expected to have a 10th grade reading level. In Erie County, NY, they are only required to have a *6th* grade reading level. Is that who anyone wants dealing with violent criminals? Not to mention Social Workers are some of the laziest and most entitled people I've ever worked with (as a group. I know a few fantastic ones just getting chewed up by the system every day).

@libsoftiktok When will they learn, social workers are NOT police officers. Social workers on the streets put lives in danger.

@hey_mindi It’s PE, and I don’t give a happy shit who disagrees with me. Until they started turning animal care into a machine, owners weren’t facing this level of insanity. Only vets still on their own aren’t like this.

There is something catastrophically wrong with Americas vet business. I sat for 3 hours yesterday with our 11 year old dog. Test after test. I kept signing financial agreement papers, desperate to find an answer to what’s wrong. Every step of the way, a thorough explanation of the need to do xyz. Always with the sentence at the end “that runs $____” Sign this. By the end of the 3 hours, my choices were pay $5000 to admit her for the rest of the afternoon or put her down. I couldn’t think straight. I walked in with her hours prior thinking she just had some little bug that would be simple to resolve. I can’t stop thinking about how many people would have to choose option 2, because $5000 out of left field isn’t possible to pay. I also can’t believe that I was forced to sit and watch a 14 min vaccine commercial reel on repeat for 3 hours while I contemplated our devastating circumstances. This can’t be the norm. If you have a prayer, I humbly ask if you’d lift our family up this Easter Sunday.
