@jennyeclair I did both last year, pots did not survive, inspite of new watering system, only one survived in the ground. I suspect something eaten them, dont know what! The surviving one was stunning.🤞it comes back and self seeds. The love in a mist was equally successful! Good luck.

@wmarybeard Equally, I have no issue with an eye test, but let's make it for everyone. Lets link it to insurance. You must have a valid eye test certificate to get insurance. My husband was oblivious to how bad his eyesight was ...he was 40!!!!

As an over 70 I will be happy to take a driving eye test. But headlines are so full of emotive language. “FORCED” to take a test (“required” wd be better) “BANNED” if they fail (“would not have licence renewed”). After all we all took compulsory eye test when we got our licences.

We were delighted to hear that both on being asked why told that person "we dont have time" and the oldest " Grumpa and Nonna we play with us" We have never told them not to bring them.... their choice

@loosewomen It seems to be expected by some that grandparents look after their grandchildren. Friends are amazed/horrified that we don't have ours on regular basis (same day each week) more than happy to have them but not do "childcare".

@jennyeclair I have left them in the pots ..just added some new soil on the top and forked it in a bit, worked well, the tulips (farmer graceys parrot ones) came up. This us the 4th year and floweed each year.

@jennyeclair When I was at school and ‘caught short’ we had to go to the secretary and buy one for 5p. It had loops on it. I had to borrow my Mother’s much perished loop belt to use them. The result of which, the pad would swing like a hammock because the belt had stretched over the years. 😎

@fredsmum5 @jennyeclair @FarmerGracy Bought parrot tulips from them pre covid, and they came up again this year, admittedly not as big or as many, but I've never had tulip bulbs that have lasted that long, or look so stunning. Am reordering as we speak.
