Rough morning. For the last year I’ve had Victors car for safe keeping since his stroke. Had a quick visit with him this morning to hand off his Bungie parking pass, as he’s been impacted by the layoffs and needs to return it. To see this happening to him is heartbreaking.

Police in a statement say that they are aware of a flag being flown on the edge of the Fountain Estate near Bishop Street in #Derry and that they are currently liaising with local representatives and making efforts to have the flag removed. The flag is a Solider F flag.

@rtenews The fitness standards for Garda entry requirements are very reasonable at present. You need to be fit for the role. The biggest problem with the fitness aspect of the Garda is - Trainee Garda will only have one test and will never be tested again in their whole career.
