I think the most underrated things about Marathon for D2 fans is that almost every game can play like back-to-back, high-stake rounds of Trials of Osiris

@legoleflash Well sure doesn’t look like many people share your feeling on it. I have about 13k hours in destiny and I hated marathon every second I played it. Just pissed me off from the start.

The problem with Marathon is that I don’t want to watch it, I don’t want to make content on it, I JUST WANT ONE MORE GAME. ONE MORE RIGHT?? THAT LAST ONE DOES’NT COUNT. WE’LL MAKE THIS ONE FAST. EASY CONTRACT. WAIT, ROOK RUN BEFORE BED . GOT TO PREP FOR TOMORROW. IT’S WHAT TIME?!

@lulusoccer Totally get it! If my poor brain could manage lurking and doing things I definitely would. It’s an incredibly entertaining game to watch… I just want to BE IN THERE 😅😅

@legoleflash I feel this but I as a work-lurker of streams I LOVE watching people play Marathon during the day! That being said I am constantly thinking of wanting to play - and have stayed up entirely too late this week playing!

@illPhysics Makes me more avoidant most of the time. I don’t mind getting 3rd partied in teams as much, it’s fun fights, but solo is brutal.

Being twitter-famous has benefits! My teammate (POV) managed to lockdown this building to prevent a team from wiping us, and then as they looted me outside, we heard "IS THAT MOSSYMAX FROM TWITTER?!" We negotiated a truce, and ended up doing some melee damage testing together!

@legoleflash Wait, what's the MIDA info trick? HP is pretty straightforward, 120 HP health and 20HP per shield bar. You can confirm that from the damage listing after you get eliminated. And the damage listed on the guns seems accurate!

@mossy_max Mossy are you publishing numbers anywhere? See a lot of people posting health and TTK stuff but no sources.

@cntrmldy @AboveTP Didn’t TTK change between then and live game? With how everyone is saying how fast it is now?

@legoleflash @AboveTP at one point during closed testing the devs talked about it and those were the numbers

2 things I’d love to see in Marathon! 1) A rework of stack sizes to alleviate stash space issues. Im almost always tapped for space & selling guns to make room feels bad. 2) Stats! Like total Runners downed, K/D, Survival Rate, Teammates Revived, etc. Creates even more depth.

@cntrmldy @AboveTP Do you have a source? Seen a lot of people posting TTKs but they just say stuff like “we watched server slam footage” for how they got it.

@legoleflash @AboveTP base health is 120, every bar of shield is 20 (the green one that's 2x strength is still equivalent to 40 total) white shield -> 140 total blue shield -> 180 total, etc
