The liberals are afraid of guns. They think guns will go off by themselves and start shooting. Conservatives on the other hand cannot live without them. The US constitution guarantees every American the right to self defense, even against their own government if it becomes tyranical.

Are guns found in almost every household in America? And do people usually buy them with their own money? In Japan, firearms are very strictly regulated. Private ownership is mainly permitted only for licensed hunting and sport shooting. So I’m curious: Is owning a gun considered normal in America, or does it really depend on the family and the state?

@tanpukunokami I’m from South Carolina. When I was 10 years old my dad bought me a single-shot 410 to shoot doves with him. For my 12th birthday I got a Savage 243 bolt action to hunt deer. Yeah, it’s SUPER common

@hanaamurakami I agree with you about culture and etiquette. But it’s impossible to learn the language outside of Japan. If you go, you should go to language school in Japan. Also, it’s almost impossible to understand culture and etiquette without the language. they’re connected.
