About seven years ago, I was at a kids birthday party with my daughter for one of her classmates. I live in a posh area, and was slightly out of place (as I am not a doctor, a surgeon, a lawyer nor went to public school I mix in different circles). After a bit I got chatting to a dad who I didn’t recognise who said that he didn’t meet many parents as he was separated from his daughter’s mum. Nice guy. Chatted for a bit about not much of anything. A week later, I bump into a doctor who was there and she said “you got on well with Tom- I think everyone else was too shy to say much to him”. Never recognised him.

Matt Reeves being so involved with this when horror guy Andy Muschietti could've produced and garnered some goodwill for Brave and the Bold is very telling. Very heavily leaning towards this being a surprise Pattinson universe movie.

@theshinecomics I’m confused does The Batman not exist? Set in the same universe. And if you think about it, starting the mcu with iron man was seen as a big risk at the time. Nobody knew who he was.

Just imagine if the MCU started off with giving Tombstone or Vulture their own solo movie before Spider-Man even has one.
