March was a month of course renovations for Greenkeeping teams. Now their attention turns to recovery and performance. #agronomy#golfmaintenance#agronomylife
Following career progression, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Assistant Greenkeeper.

@greenkeeperdave WHS recommending a measured course at all times to allow general play cards.
Pathetic initiative IMO.
Winter golf should be taken just as that… winter golf.
Pressures on keeping a measured course 24/7 just isn’t sustainable
How many clubs still have serious qualifying competitions pretty much every week all through winter !!!
Nothing like putting even more pressure on the greenstaff
@GeorgeGrimes2 Unfortunately yes mate we’ve had to take all ares in as well
You can have preferred lies, winter tee and fairway mats etc but not theses 🤷🏻♂️
11th tee will always be a problem tee as the trees next to it from the old railway are so close. Tree roots was causing a serious problem to the surface so ripped them out, took them away ready for leveling next week and new turf @DiggerduncTPL
Really dry on non irrigated areas now. Given up with weather apps. Gives us more time to do other jobs though. 147mm so far this year! 😳. Greens just given a roll today. Aprons and Tees cut. Holes moved, bunkers raked and the standard hand watering. Enjoy the weekend all. 👍🍺
Great the to have the members in for a divot day on Monday, thanks to everyone that helped out. Great job by Les with his stump grinder on Tuesday, got loads done. 👏
And this is why I’m replacing tees irrigation, when you can’t even do beneficial maintenance such as verti draining without puncturing the irrigation pipe that’s 6” deep 🙈 @BromboroughGolf@BIGGALtd
