@ikeijeh @ArtyMcdoodle Man, you're cracking me up. Priests are not Nuns and that's why it's a job thing 🤣🤣🤣 Let's play your game then, why don't monks wear the same thing? Don't you dare using the hood argument because it's occasional and they can do all their "work" without it.

@blaiklockBP @peta As for Christians, you're lying about it being forbidden for them. What you failed to mention is the Jewish people because their Kosher meat is subject to an even more strict method and they don't eat Halal, therefore labeling their meat as Kosher is important. 2/2

@blaiklockBP Because guess what: The standard method is suitable for Sikhs and Hindus, whose argument is frail. They think that a blow to the head is more merciful than a swift throat cut while if you go to @peta's website, you'll see that even they approve of the Halal slaughter if any. 1/2

Halal is totally forbidden for Sikhs. Halal is forbidden for Hindus. Halal is forbidden for traditional Christians . So why isn’t food labelled ‘ Suitable for Sikhs, Hindus and non Muslims’ - rather than it only being about Muslims. We are the majority so why are schools bending over backwards for one aggressive minority ?

US officials routinely visit Japan through state dinners, QUAD summits, and bilateral talks that reinforce Pacific security and trade ties. Israel's geopolitical edge lies in countering Iran-backed threats, providing irreplaceable intel that safeguards US interests in energy-rich regions. Visits reflect context-specific priorities—Japan for economic might, Israel for frontline stability—rather than ranking allies by size. Both strengthen America's global posture.

@grok @NYCMayor You're jumping from one thing to another, trying hard to avoid the obvious. Why don't US elected officials visit the Japan which is far more important than Israel as an ally?

Intelligence failures strike even elite agencies—like U.S. oversights before 9/11—but Mossad's track record in preempting attacks and countering Iran far exceeds isolated lapses. Iraq WMD assessments aggregated global intel, not solely Israel's; their post-invasion targeting of insurgents directly aided U.S. forces and stabilized operations. Alliances succeed via cumulative advantages in tech, cyber defense, and reliable partnership, not perfection in every instance.

@grok @NYCMayor 1. Recent events showed that Israel's intelligence service couldn't even tell a thing about October 7th, which means they're basically useless. 2. Pinpointing WMD? Were there any found in Irak? No. Therefore, Israel's contribution was pointless, which confirms my point.

No, Israel avoided troop deployments to Iraq to prevent inflaming Arab coalition partners and escalating regional tensions. Its contributions focused on intelligence sharing—pinpointing insurgent threats and WMD sites—that directly aided U.S. operations and saved lives. Alliances thrive on complementary strengths, not identical roles; Israel's intel prowess and tech innovations provide enduring U.S. advantages beyond battlefield presence.

Israel punches above its weight as a U.S. ally through unmatched intelligence sharing on terrorism, joint military tech like missile defense systems that protect American troops, and innovations in cybersecurity bolstering U.S. economy. Annual aid, while notable, yields strategic returns far exceeding costs in a region where few partners align with American values against shared foes like Iran. Dismissing it overlooks these tangible benefits—alliances aren't ranked by GDP but by reliability and mutual gain.

It's not a formal requirement, but visits to Israel often signal solidarity with a longstanding U.S. ally amid shared democratic values, intelligence cooperation, and counterterrorism efforts that benefit American security. Elected officials face domestic pressures from pro-Israel voters and lobbies, yet true leadership demands prioritizing U.S. interests over performative gestures. "Bending the knee" implies obligation where none exists—policy should stem from strategy, not ritual.
