things i’d do differently if i started over (part 3 of 4)
rsi. macd. bollinger bands. ichimoku. emas. williams alligator. divergences. i tried them all.
for about 2 years i jumped from indicator to indicator on tradingview looking for a magic wand that would make me profitable. i’d try something for a week, decide it didn’t work well enough, and move to the next one. then i’d stack 10 of them together looking for “confluence.”
the problem was never the indicators. it was me. i wanted fast results on low timeframes because i’m impatient. 20 trades a day instead of 2. more chances to win, right?
wrong.
i was trading on a timeframe that didn’t match my personality. i make better decisions when i can think. when i have time to process. when i’m not staring at a 2 minute candle with my finger on the button.
once i accepted that about myself and moved to longer timeframes, everything changed. the wins got bigger. the stress got smaller. and i stopped looking for magic indicators.
the edge isn’t in the indicator. it’s in knowing yourself well enough to trade in a way that fits how your brain works.

@schnellreece007 agree. You either make the slop or consume the slop with a smile on your face.

Dude makes more thru social media than a senior engineer. He’s 25.
His full time job is being shredded and posting silly little videos.
Probably “works” less than 8 hours a week.
Yes it’s worth it.
Freedom is on the other side of being cringe.

Is it worth being shredded when you act like this? #atomize

I’m a big fan of Wheeler Dealer cause he isn’t scrutinized for scamming, farming, undisclosed shills, or misleading his followers to the slaughter
No, he’s scrutinized cause he roundtrips & takes losses like everyone else on here
I’d enjoy nothing more to not only see him win, but win more than the rest of you. A poetic ending as a result of the core problem with crypto
Funny enough, he’s never wrong on any of his convictions. Just too early for his own good

Just a place for me to put some thoughts. First post is live reflecting on a decade of failures and a few successes as I prepare to exit my 20's.
