Following receipt of an email from @theRSGB informing me of yet another increase in the cost of my Subscription, the time's come to set a ceiling which, at this rate, will be reached before I enter my fifth decade of Membership. It's reaching Sky TV proportions and I binned them!

This will be a big shift for the repeaters here in Lincoln. I can’t wait to get these upgraded and performing better.

I have been sent this great little radio A61/A1 to test out and review. I can’t wait to put it through its paces and see how it performs. Early indications are this is a great little analogue handheld @retevis_fans watch this space.

Playing about with a MMDVM board preparing to move GB3LM to multimode access. In the meantime it’s nice to play about with a higher gateway for DStar from home under the new license conditioned in the UK.

@RadioHam432 I convinced my wife to let me buy it when my daughter was born. This was on the basis I won’t ever have money to buy another big rig. 15 years later I can confirm I was right. I’m glad I got a good one.

Finally some time away from my PhD to get the shack tidy and back on the air.

@wgoodf Not much longer to go, but it’s certainly changed a lot so far, in my work, philosophies, and outlook.

@wgoodf It’s on educational research all based around the day job working in Further and Higher Education. Not too exciting but I enjoy it.

I've forgotten when RadCom was delivered, but I just unwrapped it today. In other News, I haven't posted anything for ages, and people are still following me. I know. 🤦‍♂️

@FilipeG15016881 Thanks, I was bother with it only being a small 10AH 12v battery, but I guess it will be ok with the engine running

Radio friends and followers, has anyone had any success installing a mobile radio in a 48v mild hybrid car? How did you sort the 12v supply with such a small AGM 12v battery?

Nice to be able to work a little portable from the weekend QTH but there is not as much activity as last weekend.

Realising I can get HUBNet in my Volvo using the TuneIn app is a huge win. I might not be able to TX but I can certainly monitor when out mobile.

An escape to finally play radio after a busy few years. Some amazing DX signals this close to the sea.

@VolvoCarUK is it usual for your customer services to take longer than a week to respond? Such a shame that nice cars are let down by poor customer service nationally and from @StoneacreMotors too.
