The first day of Railways on the Air went okay. 40m conditions from up here aren't so amazing, but the higher bands are excellent.

@aang254 That is true. Not going to be much left for us to get then which is a shame. Not without some more major setups for the higher frequencies which most wont have space for.

@M5SJM Even on L-Band, there is only METEOR and MetOp left. And MetOp will be gone in a few years. There's also AWS, but most people don't care about that.

Work is progressing nicely on the new Hardware for GB3LM with @M0TEF. MMDVM/PiStar Setup and Tested on the FT-8800. 2x Motorola GM300's Setup and Tested as a directly connected FM Repeater. Now just to put the two parts together... #GB3LM #GB3LS #hamradio #hamr #amateurradio

Some more processing of the Orbcomm ephemeris data: I compiled a video (~1min worth) from all the data accumulated over the last 24+ hours or so. This shows all satellites actively transmitting that passed over my QTH in this timeframe. This allows some interesting observations.

From those more in the know this is perfectly normal as part of the commissioning :D

@aang254 I assumed it would be something like that. I've always found it very finicky and just gives up at the slightest issue like when the timestamps were out. Who would of thought.. the standards are there for a reason.

@M5SJM This ongoing issue results in only the first channel being transmitted in LRPT. That'll make many decoders just discard everything or crash as they always assume a specific "frame counter" to act how it does when 3 channels are active.
