Unfortunately, the project is dead as I didn't feel like spending so much on the rest of the frame, though I did design the Z axis (using only one Z motor from the Prusa Mini) that used belts to transmit the rotation to the front two T8 rods, along with most of the enclosure. 5/5

I based the frame off the photos of the Core One from Prusa's site, but I didn't and don't have one to compare to. The parts were stainless steel cut, bent, and painted by @sendcutsend. I only was able to order the CoreXY part as the rest was just too expensive to get. 4/5

@ZombieHedgehog_ I have never used a case on my Fold 5, even fell 25ft onto direct concrete and didn't crack. Been going two years strong

Does anyone actually use a phone without a case? Crazy considering phones cost $1000+ now 😅 I love that orange though...

@ZombieHedgehog_ @jamesmcpherson PETG sucks to print with sometimes, but the creep resistance that PETG offers over PLA is the main benefit for me

@jamesmcpherson Mostly my feelings too, I'm wondering if a lot of these people have tried both solutions.

I'm surprised how many people still print PETG, do you print it for the looks or slight temp resistance over PLA?

At this point the @Sovol3d SV08 delay has been so long, I'm considering cancelling the order and building a v2.4. I assumed the early May delivery date would slip, but not by this much!

Had this happen a few times in a row now. There’s nothing stuck on the nozzle. Anyone else had something similar or know the fix?

The #BambulabDeathCount lets start a hashtag, of companies, features and/or products that have been swallowed up or forgotten in the wake of the modern mass produced Corexy’s coming on the scene. I’m genuinely wondering how this ripple in time has impacted this space for the clever ideas of the old days. For example: 1. Do you remember when flex plates were a feature? Not mandatory? 2. Do you remember when @josefprusa blew our minds with textured bed plates? (Should have patented that idea). 3. BLtouch was the upgrade to get 4. Every printer had Marlin 5. Heated beds were not universal 6. Where’s Buidtak? Was a standard forever. Bambu wasn’t cause of all these things changing, but it was the most significant change in the timeline. Feel free to add. What do you remember from before all this Corexy, klipper, input shaping, auto this and that craziness?

@ZombieHedgehog_ @BambulabGlobal When I had an A1 (before the recall) I had the AMS mounted on top. I did comparisons to it being on the side and saw no difference in print quality, vfas, ghosting, etc. I did however have a spoon of Gizmo Dorks filament on it and it fell off mid print, ruining the print...

As heavily requested, I'm putting the final touches on my @BambulabGlobal profile for the A1 mini (A1 will be avaliable as well). I'm considering getting an A1 to test it on! Who has their AMS lite mounted on top? Would take up a lot less space than the A1 mini... Check out my profiles on patreon!
