.@sendcutsend & @jimbelosic might quietly be one of the best manufacturing operators ever. When we started Machina Labs, we thought building Robocraftsman was the hard part. Turns out, getting a real factory in the U.S. to reliably produce and sell parts & assemblies at scale is just as hard… maybe harder. It’s just less glamorous than “next-gen tech,” so no one tweets about it. SendCutSend figured it out in the toughest market for manufacturing operation - the US. Jim needs to be teaching what he does to folks in schools and other founders. More importantly VCs in this space should get in that class ;)

@Eggs_and_Jakey Great question, there are tabs naturally left on sheet metal parts from our cutting process and yes customers remove them if they want.

are there people leaving tabs on sheet metal to set up the welds then removing them? like as a spacer/level? @sendcutsend

@sendcutsend would have guessed some kind of underpressure, but wasnt sure how it would work with water jet cutting why not laser cutting the rubber btw?

Sometime this last week it happened. I didn’t know it when it happened, but it was confirmed this morning. I had opened the last gogo squeez for my daughter. Today, she showed me how she can do it on her own 🥺
