Roberto’s, a beloved San Diego taco shop that has been around since I was a kid is getting targeted over their political views. It’s 6 am but I’m ordering 3 rolled tacos with guac and a carne asada burrito to support freedom

A distraught family is claiming that LAPD killed their loved one who was innocently walking down the sidewalk with a cell phone in his hand. LAPD claim it may have had something to do with the loaded 9 mm ghost gun he was brandishing. Either way, the family is suing…

@M3THM4N @TheKevinDalton It’s always the case. Then they also don’t report the crimes to the FBI which makes it look like these crimes aren’t happening. It’s amazing how it’s happening in the largest blue cities with the DAs back by Soros.

Apparent Disneyland Park employee is caught by a streamer attempting to meet a 12-year-old boy. You would think background checks were some of the bare necessities.

@NoTucker_real @TheKevinDalton True. I've arrested people for one crime only to have the DA's Office have them plead to a totally different crime. It was always interesting.

@M3THM4N @TheKevinDalton Well when we have all these DAs that don’t prosecute or knock charges down so they don’t even resemble the actual crime then this also happens. I wonder if it is all a big plot. 🤔😉

The markets are pumping after Iran's President said Iran is ready to end the war if they receive security guarantees But are the markets aware the President has no power, and has made similar statements before? I hope there is more to the market pump than just this statement.

Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd. Same for any other large project that depended on litellm. Afaict the poisoned version was up for only less than ~1 hour. The attack had a bug which led to its discovery - Callum McMahon was using an MCP plugin inside Cursor that pulled in litellm as a transitive dependency. When litellm 1.82.8 installed, their machine ran out of RAM and crashed. So if the attacker didn't vibe code this attack it could have been undetected for many days or weeks. Supply chain attacks like this are basically the scariest thing imaginable in modern software. Every time you install any depedency you could be pulling in a poisoned package anywhere deep inside its entire depedency tree. This is especially risky with large projects that might have lots and lots of dependencies. The credentials that do get stolen in each attack can then be used to take over more accounts and compromise more packages. Classical software engineering would have you believe that dependencies are good (we're building pyramids from bricks), but imo this has to be re-evaluated, and it's why I've been so growingly averse to them, preferring to use LLMs to "yoink" functionality when it's simple enough and possible.
