Did anyone else grow up being told: “Make sure you have nice knickers on, in case you’re hit by a bus” I cannot be the only girl told this? Is this just some weird thing I was told… or is it a regional/time period/contextual thing?? Anyone else heard this before?

@saj_anderson @British_Airways When my late dad, an anaesthetist, saved a patient's life on a BA flight after a cardiac arrest, BA recognised his good deed - with a book. LOL

My daughter Jess has spent the last four years growing her hair to donate to the little Princess Trust. An organisationthat provides wigs to people who are undergoing chemotherapy or who have alopecia. What a wonderful, unselfish gesture. Well done Jess @UoS_Physio @SalfordUni
