Went out for a bike ride after teaching today. Felt like I was really struggling, but turns out I road at my fastest pace and crushed some segment records. I guess I was carrying some pent up energy from being cooped up in my makeshift office all week?

@MsMarsettWPHS @harpleigh2011 I recommend it! I don’t use a lunch box or anything but I put everything in one place in the fridge so I can get to it quickly!

@harpleigh2011 I think I’m going to have to start packing my lunches... just to be able to eat them in time!

@MeghanWilson I was always really good at school, but the PhD wasn’t for me. Realized it halfway through and was able to finish with a master’s and went on to science education.

Wanna know a secret... I have a PhD and I was never really great at school.

As requested, a rant on hero-teacher mythology. Just as we see the Madonna/whore duality that women experience, teachers are either lazy, the ones who drink &/or have mugs that say 3 reasons I teach: June, July, August, or the hero-teacher 1/n

Millionaire athletes opt out of their season to protect themselves and their families... Americans: I completely understand and agree. Teachers pleading to teach online to protect themselves, their students and their families... Americans: Stop being so selfish!

Needed to hear this today! It’s been non-stop trainings for the last three weeks. Need to decompress for a bit.

@TheGwladysSt Right on. Anyone expecting 4-5 summer signings to put us into Europe next year is delusional. We’ve done that before and gone backwards. Tough to swallow being mid-table for another few years but I don’t really see another way out.

Ancelotti & Brands need to find a philosophy for the club, recruit to it, blood it into the academy and stick to it over the next 4 years. Us as fans just need to accept the circumstances of what we are and have a blind belief that we are on the right path.
