This weekend, New Jersey descended into chaos. There was a violent brawl at Woodbridge Mall. A massive fight at Menlo Park Mall. A 17-year old stabbed in Seaside Heights. Seventy-three arrests made in Seaside alone. This wasn’t a coincidence. It was a direct result of Trenton’s failure to act. Just last week, I pushed to override Governor Murphy’s veto of the bipartisan bill we passed to crack down on these pop-up mobs and violent gatherings. The Legislature had already unanimously approved it. It would’ve given law enforcement the power to shut down these events before they turned dangerous. But Governor Murphy vetoed it - because it didn’t include a carver to protect masks and face coverings as “expressive conduct” during illegal brawls and riots. I urged my colleagues to do the right thing. To stand with law enforcement. To override the veto. They refused. Since 2022, pop-up parties have terrorized our beach towns, overwhelmed our malls, and spread violence across the state. Local officials and police have begged us to take action. We passed a solution - and Trenton Democrats threw it away. The Legislature is a coequal branch of government. We had the authority to act. We had the evidence. We had the chance. Now New Jersey families are paying the price. This weekend was a warning. And if we don’t take back control, it will only get worse. I’ll keep fighting to give law enforcement the tools they need. This is what happens when the far-left calls the shots. It’s dangerous and disgraceful.

Paul Pelosi did exactly that in Napa, admitted he knew he hit something, and kept driving until his car gave out. No arrest. Just like his 2022 DUI in the same county, where he served ONE day. This is man whose wife, Nancy Pelosi turned a congressional "salary" into a $280 MILLION fortune with suspiciously perfect stock timing. The Pelosi’s belong in jail.
