🇮🇷 Iran didn’t just attack Prince Sultan US Base in Saudi Arabia, they absolutely paralyzed US Air Force > They damaged E-3 Sentry (AWACS), an irreplaceable aircraft called as ‘The Eye of US Air Force’ > It tracks every drone, missile & aircraft across hundreds of miles & tells exactly where to shoot > There are roughly 16 left, all past their shelf life > The replacement E-7 costs $700 million each & will take years to build. Funding, manufacturing, etc. In short, Iran has hit US where it will hurt the most, and with precision.

Yes. Because it doesn’t take a functioning C2 or command structure to launch missiles, or fire shaheeds. Just trained, motivated, and armed people. Iran has been ready for this type of conflict. So of course they are able to conduct operations with minimal c2, but they are being destroyed

Up to now, the Iranians have been deliberately firing their older missiles and drones, using them as expendable bait to drain US and Israeli air defenses. That strategy clearly worked. Now they’re escalating, rolling out their more advanced ballistic missiles and drones. So Israel is now taking more and more direct hits from Iranian ballistic strikes.....

Dude that’s not even true. The max number deployed at anyone time, during the surge, was about 165k U.S. service members. And maybe 200k for the invasion. I want to say a total of 1.4 million total deployments ever happened to support the war in Iraq. @grok check my statement and correct where wrong, also check what he said.

The US got its ass handed to it in Iraq with ~800,000 troops deployed, 6 aircraft carriers in the region and full use of GCC bases. This time around, the US can’t even deploy two aircraft carriers, got chased out of GCC bases and is thinking about deploying a few thousand marines/paratroopers. What are you smoking?

I’m preoccupied with Iran because I spent a good chunk of my professional life being tasked to focus on it. But more than that, I’m preoccupied with it because a victory over that regime will change the world. A huge chess piece will be taken from China. The Gulf states will have declared their violent opposition to Islamist imperialism, marking the greatest leap in social evolution in perhaps a millennium, thereby reducing the need for an American military footprint in the Middle East. When you think about what is at stake—-and at our fingertips —it’s really freaking exciting.

Because either of those things are true. They work well, very well, but it’s not a force field. Ukraine is in a war, and some get through and shooting down the high percent makes a huge difference. People that want trump to be losing game the few that get through as evidence that we are losing. It’s silly. They work, they work well, very well…. Some get through sometimes.

This shows a complete lack of understanding of the U.S. military, our capabilities and posture, and our systems. Satcom terminals… so what we have many and mobile systems. Radars? It’s an integrated system and for patriots other parts are critical, you can replace and fix radars and use other radars to orient the system. Tankers. Even if all 6 or whatever were destroyed, we have 400 more. The AWACS sucks but the enemy isn’t stupid and they are targeting air fields. But I would bet this isn’t the only one we have.
