My guy broke up with his babe sometime last year. The girl seemed cool and I wasn't aware of any problems that justified a breakup. I asked him why and he said he would tell me later. After a few weeks, he got a new babe. He randomly called me yesterday and we got talking. Apparently, a few months after he started dating his ex, he invested some money in a business and his business partners connived with one another to steal money from him. This affected his ability to supply the goods he had been paid to deliver and his customers started threatening to arrest him. They gave him a week's ultimatum and he started running around, taking loans and doing everything he could to either deliver or pay the money back. He told me that every night when he got home tired and worried, he would explain to his girlfriend on the phone what he went through the whole day to get money, but he never asked or expected her to support him financially because she didn't have any money of her own. Before the end of the ultimatum, he was able to source the money after borrowing from family and friends and he settled the issue with his customers. After he told his girlfriend this, she asked him for some money to sort her personal stuff, even though she knew he was in debt and his business was in trouble. He said he lost all attraction for her and knew he couldn't marry her. He broke up with her two months later even though he actually loved her. He then told me about his new babe. He said he had promised to buy her some stuff but he didn't make as much profit as he anticipated. When he told her and expected the kind of reaction he would have gotten from his ex, this babe told him that he shouldn't worry about it and that he could buy those things when he had money. She also came to his place to cook and told him that the cost of cooking from yesterday till Sunday was on her. She said she just wanted to ease his burden. He told me that he had never met a girl like her and was quite emotional on the call. That random call was to tell me that he had found his wife.

There’s this car stand close to my farm. I met the owner at a bar one time and we later became friends. After farm work, I’d usually stop by the bar to chill with him before heading home. Sometimes I see him and his guys hanging around at the stand too, but I only join when he invites me. The guy is always at that car stand every single day except Sundays. And trust me, this guy sabi ball 😅. If I have outings, I even like linking up with him because I can leave my car at his place and we’ll pull up in a doper car instead. But here’s what’s been bothering me… One day I asked him if he does any other job apart from selling cars, and he said no. The strange part is that for almost 2 years now, it feels like I’ve been seeing the same set of cars at that stand … meanwhile this guy spends money like tomorrow no dey. At this point, I’m starting to feel like there’s something baba no dey tell me ..I’ve lowkey started avoiding him somehow. So, my husband woke up today and decided to make my life actively annoying. When I explained this to my husband, he told me to go and stay at my parents’ house for those two months. My parents have tried calling him to settle things, but he has refused to pick their calls. Right now, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.
