Sunny Side Down already had out-of-this-world drinks and enough chaos to make us ask an important question… “What if these beverages existed in real life?” So we teamed up with SinCityBartender, (Jason) to bring the world of the series off-screen and into an actual glass. What started as a creator collab quickly stopped feeling like promo and became a genuine extension of the Sunny Side Down universe itself. Also, we expected maybe one or two drinks. Second campaign with DICK'S Sporting Goods!! Another new launch... the card is the hero, with the world of sport built around it. A lot of attention went into making everything feel authentic to the athletes, the sports themselves, and true to the brand. The goal was to signal this is for the people who’d actually use the card, without anything feeling overly flashy or forced. It’s also always a good sign when everyone’s aligned from the start and genuinely hyped about the end result. The biggest challenge on Stressticles was making sure the tone reinforced the design, which centered around the same idea: if something feels off, don’t ignore it. A major focus in production was making the PSA feel more shareable rather than entirely instructional. So we did what we do best... built around a short runtime, used recognizable visual language, and all-too-familiar visual metaphors to help the message stay clear. So even with the sound off and scrolling up a storm, if you came across Billy here, you’d not only know what it’s about instantaneously, you’d want to stick around and hear what he has to say. In the end, the final result balanced entertainment and awareness without separating the two. #AnimationBreakdown #PSA #MarketingHealth #CreativeStudio

Crayola as the brief AND the medium. Yeah, we for sure had to show how this was made. This is one of those pieces where the concept and making of are truly just as cool as the final piece. The biggest reward in seeing how the piece was made is watching how much the process itself grew on the students. Learning how to actually build something together like a real creative team and, in a lot of ways... just trusting the process. This workshop isn’t just about making a cool portfolio piece, but rather the bigger takeaway is learning how commercial production actually works and, in this case, stepping outside your comfort zone to create something you never would’ve thought to MAKE. May the 4th be with you. Too many people in the studio love Star Wars to pass up the chance for a team build like this. We pulled artists from both the 2D and 3D teams and yeah, it’s epic. Each artist had a couple hours, jumped in to do their part, then passed it off to create one continuous fight sequence. We call this a long game of MAKE telephone, and it has become one of our favorite ways to just make something and push ourselves a bit. The only direction was tone from Spy vs. Spy and Star Wars. Crayons weren’t just the product... they were the aesthetic. Continuing the 2025 MAKE Commercial Workshop. The 2D team’s pitch was built around Crayola, and oooh did they commit fully: everything you’re seeing was done with crayons only. Instead of chasing polish, the team leaned into movement. Lines shift, color builds, and each frame carries the weight of the hand behind it, giving the piece an instantly recognizable look. “In 2D, the more you let go, the more personality shows up. What really stood out on this project was how the team used the limitations as a shared language. Everyone was working within the same set of rules, and that’s what allowed the world to feel cohesive.” — Danny Robashkin Producer Lucia Naples helped guide that process, keeping things moving as the team pushed ideas, adjusted in real time, and committed to choices without overworking them. Not everything’s easy to talk about… so we made it easier to watch. 👀 We teamed up with the Testicular Cancer Foundation and Omnicom to bring Stressticles to life. A PSA that leans into humor, nostalgia, and a little bit of absurdity to say something that actually matters. Inspired by that classic “Let’s All Go to the Lobby” feel, we built a world of familiar pairs where something’s always just slightly… off. From shoes to cherries to a cheerful walking pair of blue testicles (Billy Balls), the idea is simple: when something feels off, don’t ignore it. Early detection saves lives, and if we can make that message more approachable, more memorable, and easier to share… we’re doing something right. #TesticularCancerAwareness #MensHealth #Animation #CreativeStudio

Two brands, both with strong identities. The challenge? Making them feel like they belonged in the same world. That was the unlock for Fruit Riot x Sour Patch Kids. Taking SPK’s sour then sweet chaos and dropping it into Fruit Riot’s bright, tropical world without losing either side. The characters needed to feel like they were truly part of that world, not just placed into it. A lot of work went into shaping their look and movement, defining the details that gave them texture and presence. Elements like water were built and refined to bring more energy and motion into the spot, rather than just sitting in the background. We had our hands on the project from concept through final, and everything was shaped through iteration. Two sour icons, and one bite that’ll take you straight to the tropics... Fruit Riot x Sour Patch Kids is here. We partnered with Beyond Better Foods and Mondelēz International to bring this collab to life, blending two vibrant brand identities into one seamless spot. The idea was simple: Fruit Riot, but gone sour. That drove everything. Merging SPK’s iconic “first they’re sour... then they’re sweet” energy with Fruit Riot’s bright, tropical vibe to make both brands feel fully present, not just side by side, but intertwined. From start to finish, we had so much fun making this piece. Always love when a crossover looks as smooth as the partnership felt. Time flies when you’re animating golf balls at extreme levels of intensity. This is still one of our favorite spots we’ve done with Callaway. Why? It’s sharp, dark, and packed with the kind of energy we love pushing into a piece. Chrome Soft originally launched on this day, and this spot marked the first time we teamed up with Callaway to bring their latest and greatest to life. We’ve made many spots with them since, but this one hits different. This was all about exploring the unknown of what goes into the precision behind making the best golf ball (we’re a bit biased). Every frame needed to land perfectly, pushing the pace while revealing layer after layer. The transformation builds energy toward the final form.
