Thanks @matchcoalition @ByNinaMartin for having me today to talk about the #Momnibus, my bill, the Data to Save Moms Act, and tackling racial disparities in maternal mortality. Data is crucial to tackling this crisis. We can’t fix a problem we don’t understand.

Maternal mortality is dropping around the world—except in the U.S, where it increased 16.7% from 1990-2015. We are failing to protect those who are most vulnerable, and we are paying for it dearly.
