@AFCBeef I didn’t think he was ever going to play an U21 side. It’ll be somewhat rotated but there’ll be at least half a dozen starters in there. Regardless, all the players will have one eye on that final, they’ll play to stay fit. Not go for that sprint or that 50/50 like normal.

@MBEdits7 silvers and reds can attend 30 games and still not enter window 2. not sure what you’re failing to comprehend, it’s really not that difficult.

it will be 30/30 home games on Monday and that’s just this season alone, with no chance of any final tickets. insane how there isn’t a window based on attendance, will probably miss out on the screening too.

@LeeJenno 5 UCL away games went to 0 this season. 3 of them quite comfortably. I did 2, didn’t get the 3rd. No bitterness from me that I missed out in window 2. I knew the stakes and didn’t do the 3rd away game, I’ve no leg to stand on to complain 🤷‍♂️

@Salhill6 @msmith850 We were super green, had no experience but he helped us adjust the script and helped give suggestions for how to shoot presenter inserts. Shot with him for a few hours kind of winging it and he never once hurried us up or got impatient. Will forever owe him one. Legend.

No fee, no drama, he just got the train to Stoke on his morning off just with the pure motivation of helping out a bunch of students with no experience

@authenticWMN I knew a few people when I was at primary school who did it. It’s because their parents both worked full time jobs in London. They were decent earners from what I knew. It was more about childcare than the free food.

@MBEdits7 It’s not easy what @YankeeGunner and co do. They spend a lot of time in the background to produce the best podcast about Arsenal. That’s why they have that support, and long may it continue.

@rupstanna I don’t deny a lot of work goes into it. Been listening for 6+ years. Just surprised it’s reportedly that lucrative is all.

@MBEdits7 Not that easy putting out so much original content out there so consistently. Many podcasts out there but few if any have the breadth and quality of AVP. Most podcast can’t get beyond the first year. I think it looks a lot easier than it is.

@TomDutty This is obviously not referring to staff that are travelling there to work. This is for staff in the ticket office, staff at the training ground etc that never normally travel with the team.

Good piece. I too have been a little baffled by the conversation around POTY which seems to pretty much admit that these awards are only for attackers and creators. It hasn't been a vintage year for attackers and creators across the league, logic dictates that that means it has been a really strong one for defenders and goalkeepers. I find it strange how readily and explicitly people suggest their contributions are lesser.
