The "yes" vote has won Va's redistricting referendum — but the legal fight is just beginning. Four Va Constitutional challenges are now teed up: THREE challenges to the amendment process itself: 1️⃣ First passage was invalid. The amendment was taken up during a special session convened in 2024 for budget purposes. The General Assembly's own call to the Governor (under Art. IV, §6 and Art. V, §5) and its governing resolution (HJR 6001) limited the session's scope. Expanding it to include a constitutional amendment on redistricting required a two-thirds vote that never occurred. A Tazewell County judge found this action "void, ab initio." 2️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires that after first passage, a proposed amendment be "referred to the General Assembly at its first regular session held after the next general election of members of the House of Delegates." An election must intervene between first and second passage. Here, first passage occurred during an election cycle — not before an intervening one. 3️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires the amendment be submitted to voters "not sooner than ninety days after final passage by the General Assembly." The timeline from second passage to the April 21 vote did not satisfy this requirement. Plus ONE challenge to the proposed maps: 4️⃣ Art. II, §6 requires that "every electoral district shall be composed of contiguous and compact territory." The proposed congressional maps violate this contiguity requirement (rather badly). Next stop, court. Stay tuned.

We need to preserve a control group as we enter the Borg era. I volunteer. I say we get a nice island. I'd like a cohort of five hundred. We will come out after ten years and compete with the augmented, plugged-in, Singularity people on a range of tasks. I'm completely serious.

Chris Murphy, just couldn’t contain his fucking glee. Murphy posts “awesome” in reply to Ali Vaez crowing that at least 26 Iranian shadow-fleet vessels have slipped the U.S. blockade like ghosts through a sieve. A United States Senator...sworn to defend this Republic against all enemies, foreign and domestic...openly celebrating the operational success of the world’s premier state sponsor of terrorism. Not a slip of the tongue. Not a “contextual nuance.” A deliberate, public ejaculation of joy at America’s strategic humiliation. This is asymmetric warfare, and Murphy just cheered the enemy’s supply line. Iran is not a misunderstood regional actor; it is a revolutionary theocracy that has spent forty-five years building a forward-deployed empire of terror from the Levant to Latin America. Its strategy is patient, patient like a parasite: use oil revenue to arm militias, destabilize energy chokepoints, erode American credibility, and wait for domestic quislings to finish the job. Murphy’s “awesome” is not naivety. It is the psychological signature of the self-loathing elite...ideologically possessed, historically illiterate, and pathologically incapable of identifying with the civilization that elevated him. He doesn’t see the United States as a fragile inheritance worth defending; he sees it as the root of all global sin, and Iran as the righteous corrective. That is not policy disagreement. That is spiritual treason. Pathologically speaking, the modern American Left functions exactly like HIV/AIDS: it hijacks the host’s own immune system...our Constitution, our military, our intelligence services, our culture of self-reliance...and turns those defenses inward. It neutralizes the antibodies (patriotism, realism, deterrence) while the opportunistic infections (Iranian proxies, Chinese espionage, cartel fentanyl) ravage the body politic. Murphy isn’t an aberration; he is a symptom of advanced-stage ideological AIDS. The virus has rewritten his operating system so thoroughly that America’s failure registers as moral victory. Historically, we have seen this before: Roman senators who toasted barbarian victories while the legions bled on the frontiers; Weimar intellectuals who romanticized Soviet purges; Cold War fellow-travelers who smeared anti-communists as warmongers while Stalin’s gulags filled. The pattern is ancient and lethal: internal elites who lose the capacity for loyalty become the most efficient vectors of civilizational collapse. Murphy is not “representing his state.” He is representing the transnational progressive cult that views American power itself as the disease to be cured. So spare me the sanctimonious gaslighting. This isn’t “peace advocacy.” This is cheering while the enemy resupplies the battlefield. This is a sitting U.S. Senator performing fellatio on the strategic victory of the regime that arms the people who murder our troops, our diplomats, and our citizens. And the fact that he does it openly, on X, with the smug certainty that his tribe will protect him, tells you everything about how far the rot has metastasized. Fuck Chris Murphy. Fuck the moral inversion that lets a Senator celebrate America’s adversaries while our sailors and airmen still patrol the same waters those shadow tankers exploit. And fuck the metastatic Left that has turned patriotism into a thought crime and national self-defense into “warmongering.” The Republic is not dying of external wounds alone. It is being eaten alive from within by those who wear the uniform of public office while their hearts beat for the enemy. The antibodies must awaken. The fever must break. Or the patient will not survive the night. 💀⚔️⚖️

Very sad news -Sen. Warner's daughter died: “We are heartbroken beyond words by the passing of our beloved daughter, Madison, 36, after a decades-long battle with juvenile diabetes and other health issues. She filled our lives with love and laughter, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void."

WAKE THE FUCK UP, AMERICA. Listen to James Carville. He didn’t mumble it. He didn’t dog-whistle it. He screamed it from the mountaintop on his own goddamn podcast: Day One. Grant statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico. Pack the Supreme Court to thirteen...justices-for-life turned justices-for-the-Party. Torch the Senate’s filibuster, rewrite the rules, and lock in permanent structural dominance while the rest of us are still blinking at the ballot box. “F— it,” he said. “Eat our dust. Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.” That’s not politics. That’s pathology. This is the same institutional arson that has toppled republics since the dawn of time. The Athenians watched their democracy devolve into demagoguery and judicial murder. The Romans let their Senate become a rubber stamp for emperors who first “expanded” the courts, then owned them. Weimar Germany’s elites thought they could game the system with emergency powers and emergency majorities...until the emergency swallowed the Constitution whole. Every time a ruling class decides the written charter is an inconvenience to their permanent majority, the body count starts with norms and ends with nations. Carville isn’t having a senior moment. He’s performing the tell. Authoritarians always do. They confess their intentions with the serene confidence of predators who believe their prey is too domesticated to notice the teeth. Psychology 101: projection wrapped in contempt. They accuse you of “threats to democracy” while openly plotting to repeal the electoral college, abolish the Senate’s equal representation, and turn the judiciary into a nine-to-thirteen-member super-legislature that answers to one party only. It’s not hypocrisy. It’s strategic sadism...the pleasure of watching you pretend it’s still 1787 while they rewrite 2029 in real time. They don’t hate the Constitution because it’s old. They hate it because it works. It was engineered by men who studied every failed republic in history and built in firewalls: separation of powers, federalism, enumerated rights, an amendment process deliberately slower than a Senate filibuster on a Tuesday. Those firewalls are the only thing standing between you and a one-party state where the Supreme Court becomes the DNC’s legal department and the Senate becomes a rubber stamp for whatever coastal oligarchs and academic clerisy decide is “progress.” Believe them. They are telling you exactly how they will torch it...because they’ve already done the math. Slim majority? Doesn’t matter. They’ll nuke the rules, flood the map with new blue senators-for-life, and dare you to stop them. And when you scream “unconstitutional,” they’ll smile and say the Constitution is whatever they say it is on Day One. This isn’t hyperbole. This is history on a collision course with denial. FUCK AROUND. FIND THE FUCK OUT. The American experiment doesn’t survive contact with people who view the founding document as an obstacle instead of the operating system. They want you demoralized, distracted, and gaslit into believing it can’t happen here. It already is. The only question left is whether the sleeping giant finally opens its eyes before the match hits the fuse. They told you. They meant it. They’re coming for the hardware. Time to decide if you’re going to watch the Constitution burn or finally grow the spine to put the fire out. 💀⚔️⚖️🦅

Some stories don’t ask for your attention. They seize it by the throat and refuse to let go until you have looked...really looked...at the rot beneath the glitter. This is one of them. I refuse to look away from the minds that break children while wrapping their cruelty in the language of liberation. When Nashville’s Shane McAnally and Michael Baum...two grown men who bought a newborn through surrogacy...filmed their six-week-old son’s instinctive frown at the phrase “two dads,” branded him “homophobic,” and laughed-crying at the comment suggesting they “throw it away and start over,” I did not reach for performative outrage. I reached for the DSM-5, for Bowlby and Ainsworth, for the immutable neurobiology of infant attachment, and for the cold statutes of Tennessee law. What follows is not a think-piece. It is a forensic dissection. It is the unsparing record of narcissistic pathology weaponized against a helpless infant, of surrogacy’s commodification of human life, and of the broader ideological cult that now demands we applaud the psychological desecration of children in the name of progress. I wrote it with the precision of a scalpel and the venom it deserves. Read it. Then look at the six-week-old face on that screen and decide which side of history you’re actually on. Because this isn’t about “two dads.” This is about what happens when adults turn a newborn’s nervous system into content...and the rest of us are expected to call it love. Welcome to the takedown. open.substack.com/pub/lhgrey78/p…

I don't know what is worse. Trying to convince Christian Europeans that Muslim immigration is a good thing? Or giving Lebanon as an example of peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians? This Pope speaks like the most ignorant woke campus activists. Does he really have no clue about the story of the past 50 years in Lebanon? Does he not know of the wars, massacres and bloodshed? Does he not know of the huge drop of the Christian population percentage in Lebanon? It's like watching a dystopian film, where a lethal virus makes the people zombies, and they start spewing nonsense in favor of the virus eating their brains

It’s good news that the Strait of Hormuz has now reopened. This must be a long lasting and workable solution, without tolls or restrictions on routes. Today we announced our joint plan with France and other international partners to protect freedom of navigation. We need to see a return to peace and stability, and a permanent ceasefire.

Unbelievable. Literally.

I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts: I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post. When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad. And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree. I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.
