This is my 3rd year paying for 𝕏 Premium annually and if I'm being honest... Seeing how poorly behaved all the monetized accounts are over the latest payout changes to incentivize *original content* has really soured my enthusiasm for renewing at the end of this subscription. Really not excited about my money going into the pockets of people who run aggregate, repost, slop accounts and have blatant disregard for intellectual property rights. I've never been paid a cent on this platform, but I'm a full-time creator over on YouTube where we're held to actual standards. 95% of the videos I see posted here would never be eligible for YouTube monetization. Most are straight up copyright infringement. Y'all have no idea how lax the requirements here really are - it's obviously encouraged some of the worst "creators" to exploit the system. Being verified with the blue check isn't enough of a benefit, nor do I use Grok that frequently or need 𝕏 for networking purposes. So I can't think of a good reason to keep paying and probably won't...
