Okay, I have sent a formal email to the board of directors of @Lenskart_com seeking clarification about their grooming policy and @peyushbansal’s statement on twitter saying the policy was recalled on 17th February. I have also attached SS of employee audits with date stamps of April that prove that Bansal made a false statement, Am also registering a formal complaint on the Scores compliance portal of @SEBI_India. If I do not get a reply in one week, will see what next steps should be taken as per legal advice. #AntiHinduLenskart

There were many reasons for opposing the Delimitation Bill. Two have been widely discussed. It was a cynical move to link women’s reservation which is now non controversial with a dodgy delimitation scheme. And the South was dismayed by a bill that gave more seats to the Hindi belt . But there was another concern. Most Indians have become disillusioned with politicians and with the electoral process where each individual election involves spending hundreds of crores raised from businessmen through bribes and favour granting. They are as fed up of the crores spent on corrupting MPs to switch sides. They also see less & less public benefit in parliament where biased presiding officers shut up anyone who is doing the job that MPs are supposed to do: raising issues of public importance & questioning the government . Nor do they think the tax payer gets any value from most MPs who live off public funds & do little to help ordinary Indians The new bill would have created hundreds of new MPs & involved thousands of crores of expenditure both officially & in black money. People just did not see the point in creating more MPs. If the government wants to add hundreds of MPs then it should at least let parliament function effectively & fairly Because people are fed up of a chamber that serves no purpose other than to rubber stamp executive decisions, make politicians rich, increase corruption & waste public funds. This is not how the Constitution envisaged the role of parliament

True story. Last time, when I launched #NoBindiNoBusiness, the PR firm for a leading jewellery brand in Pune reached out to me, wanting to know why I was doing the campaign. They asked me if I wanted some money, some jewellery, what was it that I was looking for. I laughed in the Guys face. Not everything and everyone is up for sale! History is repeating itself with @Lenskart_com

Trump’s Iran War: A Strategic Failure on All Fronts The cessation of hostilities against Iran marks a strategic defeat for Trump, underscoring how little his war of aggression actually achieved. First, it failed in its central aim: regime change. Instead, it has consolidated the Iranian regime’s grip on power, giving new life to a government that had been under strain. Second, the Strait of Hormuz — open before the war — is now subject to “regulated passage” under Iranian coordination. What Trump demanded as an unconditional reopening has instead evolved into a tacit recognition of Tehran’s authority, with Iran poised to levy transit fees much like Egypt does in the Suez Canal. Third, the war's international economic costs are vast and enduring. Damage to energy infrastructure across the Gulf and Iran will reverberate globally, making this war arguably the most economically disruptive in decades. Fourth, the war deepened America’s geopolitical isolation. Trump’s public frustration with NATO allies, as well as partners like Australia, Japan and South Korea, only underscored the lack of international backing for a war that had no basis in international law. Meanwhile, Gulf Arab states have been left to absorb both physical damage and reputational fallout. Fifth, the war has eroded not just Trump’s credibility, but that of the United States itself. Finally, it has fractured Trump’s domestic political base at a critical moment ahead of the midterms. This was a war that weakened America, rescued Iran’s theocratic regime and left Trump with little to show but wreckage.

WHAT IS MEDITATION? This was a question haunting a small boy. His parents were at wit's end, as they could not explain it in a simple language the boy could comprehend. Once the family went for a dharshan to Shri Ramana Maharishi. The boy put forward his question to Ramana Maharishi. Shri Ramana laughed to himself. Then with smiling face, he asked his devotee to serve the boy dosa from the kitchen. So, on a plain leaf, a dosa was served. Shri Ramana looked at the boy and said, " Now I will say "Hmm" Then only you should start eating. Then again I will say "hmm" After that no piece of dosa should be left on your plate." The boy agreed. He was so excited. Others were watching expectantly. Now the boy was eagerly waiting for the signal by looking at Shri Ramana's face. When he gave the signal "hmm" the boy started eating. Now his attention was on Shri Ramana. He wanted to finish dosa before the signal. The boy was eating dosa in a hurry, tearing big chunks of dosa, but, all the time keeping his attention on Shri Ramana. The dosa was reducing in size gradually. There was a small piece left. The boy was looking anxiously at Shri Ramana for the second signal. The moment he gave the signal, the boy immediately put the dosa in his mouth. Now Shri Ramana asked him "where was your attention till now? On me or on Dosa?" The boy replied "On both" Shri Ramana said "Yes. You were actively involved in finishing dosa, with your attention on me. You were not distracted at all. Like this when you do your daily activities with your attention or thoughts on God in the back ground, it is known as meditation." The two signals "hmm" are birth & death. Within these two events, one can engage in meditation, as demonstrated by Shri Ramana Maharishi. But to understand this we all need divine grace to mellow & mature. We all differ from each other and hence take different time to comprehend this great truth. @indira_hyd

I have no hate for Raghav Chadha, but I feel he is just trying to attract people by raising a few issues. A person who fought for a Type-5 and Type-7 government bungalow cannot be serious about solving people’s real problems. - Raghav Chadha became a first-time Rajya Sabha MP in 2022 - Allotted a Type-6 bungalow. - But he was not satisfied and requested a Type-7 bungalow, which is meant for senior ministers or top officials, not first-time MPs. - His request was approved at some level, and he moved into the Type-7 bungalow. - Later, the Rajya Sabha Secretariat asked him to vacate the bungalow, calling it a rule violation and misuse of privilege. - His allotment was cancelled. - He went to court. The court gave him temporary relief, but later the decision went against him, and he had to vacate the bungalow. - After that, he was allotted a Type-5 bungalow. The court observed that a junior MP was given a high-category bungalow not meant for him. Type-5 Bungalow: 2–3 bedrooms + basic living/dining. Type-7 Bungalow: 4 bedrooms + hall, waiting room, dining area, and separate office/camp office space.

@deepakshenoy RBI seems to have not learnt from its past mistakes. It is strange that the regulator decides first to defend a regulated entity ignoring the red flag, instead of ordering an immediate investigation. #HDFC #RBI #Governance

If a film shows a Prime Minister becoming a headache for terror groups, a chaiwala rising and challenging terrorism, and that chaiwala happens to be the PM of India, then the film is clearly pro-India and anti-terrorism. Don’t rush to label it pro-BJP. If you still call it pro-BJP despite that, then you are indirectly saying that being pro-India is the same as being pro-BJP. Think about that. #DhurandharTheRevenge

Sanjay Gandhi’s Maruti Motors got a car-manufacturing licence in 1971 despite zero track record beyond a brief Rolls-Royce stint. When Indira Gandhi returned to power in 1980, the company was nationalised by ordinance, costing the exchequer ₹4.34 crore, the only time a PM’s family-owned private firm was taken over by the state. Not everyday a hobby activity is turned to serious business using public money. And they ask others who’s “compromised”? #CompromisedCongress
