@__scottsaunders @RiazPatel_ We can't sign 4-5 players, no matter how good and expect us to win the league, it's got to be a gradual improvement and both signings so far do that. I'd rather build for the long term properly than break the bank and go all out for one season of glory.

@RiazPatel_ Will raise the technical floor of the midfield unquestionably. Physical floor needs raising but let's see what they do in the next 6/7 weeks.

Remember when you were crashing out a few weeks ago because United didn't pay £85m & break their wage structure for Matheus Fernandes and you thought it was all over despite there being 7-8 weeks of the transfer window? Do you feel a bit silly now?

@Ankaman616 I love this, Tielemans is arguably Villa's most important player especially when he was paired with Kamara he links their whole team together especially creatively. Age and experience is a massive plus.

@Markbel51364451 @StretfordPaddck This is a great signing, he's one of Villa's best players, they are terrible when he's been missing, same for Belgium. Aggressive and his passing is top. He links Villa's midfield and their forwards together. Fergie would have done this, taking one of our rivals best players.

@__scottsaunders I love how everyone is in meltdown and knows our transfer plans like they've been sat in the meetings. We have no idea and base it on what were told by aggregates and journalists. Yes we were interested in Fernandez but he was never a starter in the first 11, only a squad player.

@Ankaman616 Mainoo links everything together and apart from the goal, they've covered each other well. They are both struggling with what's ahead of them. Foden is a non entity. I really like Palmer but he's still way off where he was a year ago.
