RIP James Stannage. Anyone of a certain City vintage will know the name and his late night phone in on Piccadilly Radio and Key 103. Childhood memories of my old mate Paul Nolan being asked to whip the phone lines into a frenzy by slagging off United. Great days.

Ok fine, deduct points mid-season, but make it so that it means automatic relegation. Then start them off in The Championship next season on -80.

Remember blues, almost everyone who ever demands Pep out, says Rodri should go, tries to kick Nardo out and gets on Phil Foden's case have no fucking idea who this wonderful human was. We are all City fans but some of us support a different club than the more recently acquired.

31 visits to Wembley since 2010…. That’s more than some of the ‘Big Reds’ on here have been to Old Trafford in the same era…..

Premier League football clubs found to have cheated should, as a minimum, be stripped of all titles won during any period affected by their dishonest conduct.

@MCFCworld @GroundhogRedman This is a letter proposing the Premier League to follow UEFAs already in place rules. UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations were approved in Sep 2009 and formally introduced in 2010, with monitoring of club finances beginning in the 2011–12 season.

It’s funny how it’s called the red cartel but all the clubs cheating and getting caught are the blue cartel. Chelsea, City, Leicester and our neighbours.

At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

After the Premier League's pathetically lenient punishment, here's the question we ought to be asking: should there be asterisks against the Premier League titles Chelsea won in 2014-15 and 2016-17? dailymail.co.uk/sport/football…

@TheGunnerNick Because Arsenal are breaking these corrupt rules laws of the game with poor conduct. Chelsea broke rules that were pushed through by the elite and designed to keep them at the top forevermore.

When will fans of opposition teams start chanting “same old Chelsea, always cheating” Arsenal, one of the fairest clubs in the premier league (opta) get this every time one of our lads get kicked to the ground, whilst actual cheats get nothing. The premier league is a joke.

@draper_rob Rob - do you think Jack Walker’s title win for Blackburn Rovers, which denied Man United winning 5 titles in a row, was a good thing or a bad thing for the game?

Reading Chelsea news, am reminded what Premier League owner once told me about Roman “Everyone says Chelsea are amazing in the transfer market. Well, I could be amazing if I just paid agents what they asked me” Suspect the sense of betrayal at slap on wrist will be off scale
