@TimBrando @finebaum Tim, why not 32 or 64 teams and eliminate one regular season, conference championship games and bowl game. I agree that people can have different opinions but why stop at 24? I prefer 16 without byes vs 12 with byes. NIL has made teams 13 through 16 to win a title.

@dshi12 I don’t want to barely get a hosting seed as the number 16 and be facing UCLA in the super regional. I would rather be the number 2 seed facing the 13/14/15 seed with a slightly better odds in the super regional. This team seems to play just as well on the road as at home.

If the softball committee is any indication, Arkansas might have to win Hoover to host along with a sweep. The Top 16 was nearly a carbon copy of the RPI.

FWIW, last year’s #16 national seed Southern Miss had an RPI of 19. You do have to wonder how the committee will compare Arkansas to teams like Oklahoma and Ole Miss, who have a leg up in RPI but are lower in conference standings and lost to Arkansas head-to-head.
