This cover reminds me of a cheat aimbot for Halo CE, but it was a long time ago when Gamespy still supported it.

@henchgirlsylva This mix makes the UNSC's technological transition feel organic rather than human-made. Seeing the classic Pelican next to it makes the new vehicle look very extravagant for a mere transport.

I really love Halo Wars 2 way of marrying the two styles; the Pelican and Condor are the perfect examples of this. I say this as someone who thinks the Reclaimer era art style is very good, though not entirely ‘Halo’ to me. The old+new look also fits perfectly within the story.

@TheCountofS Sometimes we forget that behind every Mjolnir suit is a team of engineers and technicians. 🌌 Bringing that aspect back into the games would help us empathize more with the hero under the helmet. It's a shame they didn't explore this direction more!

Halo is missing the small things like having military technicians and support staff to reinforce the narrative of the armor and the person in it. That sense of collectivism goes harder than the cosmic horror, the ancient mystery and the combined arms put together.
