This has been one of the best Birthdays I have had in many years. I'm in love with the new model & I'm incredibly grateful to @MDG3DA for helping me bring her to life. She has turned out amazing & I can't wait to improve on her further.

@zinpiaVR I love doing hair normals like this. I started using vertex masking to do gradients for the normals transfer so the top of the hair blends together, and having the tips with reduced influence so they retain some of the individual shading. The soft look is exactly what I look for

learned if you smooth the vectors after normals transferred looks less flat which looks nice in unity

@poiyomi I've only just started using global masks recently and there's already so much potential. Global masks + custom UV sets will really expand how far things can take!🫣

Many people don't know this, but poiyomi has global masks that can be used anywhere in the shader. You can save performance by reusing one mask or using an effect as a mask. In this example, I'm using a decal as a mask for a skybox.
