We Hausas do not claim what does not belong to us, and we have never said we are indigenous to Nasarawa State or any state outside Hausaland. However, as Nigerians, everyone has the constitutional right to represent wherever they live and contribute. Many leaders from different ethnic groups who settled in Hausaland have ruled there, and we accepted and respected them. We are not indigenous to Nasarawa, and we will never deny or disrespect our hosts.
