@Staunts_ @tes The grades were lower because the grade boundaries were increased to get us back to 2019 figures! Which is a joke! My students had to gain 10 extra marks just to be able to pass without even knowing that would happen to them!

@tes It's no wonder that there were so many lower grades today. Those were the ones who were most affected by these gaps in supported learning

@danicquinn Finding provisions that are close to your workplace is a far better option. That way you reduce travel and stress in one go. It can be done, it just takes planning.

@danicquinn My daughter went to nursery from 8-5 before I was a teacher & I worked in hospitality, from 2 years old. She’s now 10 and I’ve been a teacher for 3 years. I’ve found breakfast and after school clubs are the answer. Most days she’s at school from 8-4:30 & her school is next door!

Hello Twitter teachers with kids. I would like to know how you manage the logistics of nursery with the school day, especially if both adults have minimal flex (ie teaching…). If the answer is “my parents live nearby” I am happy for you but am not interested on this occasion 😆

It has been an emotional few days saying goodbye to the year 11’s. But it is this point in the year where we reflect and remember why it was all worth it!
