Cheese from India makes its mark globally… India made an impressive debut at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026, which is a vibrant international competition for cheese and dairy products. Four Indian products won medals, including 1 Super Gold, 2 Golds and 1 Silver. The Super Gold was won by Eleftheria Gulmarg (Brie Style), the Golds were won by Yak Churpi-Soft, Nordic Farm, Leh, Ladakh and Eleftheria Brunost (Whey Cheese) while the Silver was won by Eleftheria Kaali Miri (Belper Knolle Style). Congratulations to Mausam Narang and Thenlay Nurboo. Such successes strengthen India’s artisanal dairy sector on the world stage.

Secretary (West) underscored the need for a fair, inclusive & development-oriented global financial system to bridge the $4T SDG financing gap. He also highlighted that reforming IFIs, enhancing the voice of the Global South, and deploying digital public infrastructure are key to delivering on the Sevilla Commitment. #FFDWeek @UNDESA

Secretary (West) @AmbSibiGeorge delivered the national statement at the IGN meeting on @UN Security Council reforms in the UN headquarters. He highlighted the need for greater representation of the Global South, particularly in the permanent category. He underlined the similarities between India’s approach to UN Security Council reforms and the African model.

President Droupadi Murmu received President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea at Rashtrapati Bhavan and hosted a banquet in his honour. She was happy to note that both sides have set an ambitious agenda for bilateral cooperation across several sectors, including trade, infrastructure, digital cooperation, small and medium enterprises, education, research, culture, and people-to-people ties.
