Nigeria Supplies Jet Fuel to Europe, Dangote Refinery Ships Cargo to UK Nigeria is supplying aviation fuel to Europe following disruptions to Middle Eastern supply routes linked to the US-Iran conflict. A cargo from Dangote Petroleum Refinery arrived at Milford Haven port in the United Kingdom, as European buyers seek alternative sources. Europe sources about 40% of its jet fuel through the Strait of Hormuz, with prices rising to $1,744 per tonne amid supply concerns. Industry data shows buyers are turning to West African refineries, including Dangote, to maintain supply. The refinery, capable of operating at 650,000 barrels per day, has exported 12 cargoes of refined fuel to African countries and recently supplied aviation fuel to the United Kingdom, while shipments from India, the United States, the Netherlands, and Nigeria continue to support European demand.
