This could be us but you’re worried about what society says and how it’s “gay” to date a trans girl 🏳️‍⚧️

@MYOFB5 @AdamZivo Dude. You come off as a homophobe who hates gays who arent 100% behind the trans movement. The genderist religion coming out of trans activists circles are grossly homophobic and sexist, but you'd rather diss on your better who's actually done the work.

@AdamZivo I'm attempting to decide what is more hilarious. Zivo's complete inability to address any of the points I made that prove he's a filthy traitor. Or the almost porn level of self gratification I see him revelling in from the likes of the lemmings. 😂🤣 Either way it's GLORIOUS!

"And what the fuck would you know about advocating for gay rights?" In the mid/late 2010s, I founded and directed LoveisLoveisLove, an LGBTQ-advocacy campaign that was responsible for large-scale art/educational installations throughout Ontario. Among other things, I produced what appears to have been the largest art installation ever installed inside Toronto City Hall, as well as Toronto's "Big Gay Bus" (a commuter bus repurposed as a mobile educational resource). I even put together a scholarship focused on LGBT youth in STEM. In the 2020s, I covered LGBTQ activism in Ukraine, Taiwan, and Serbia, producing educational installations for each of these countries that were then displayed at Toronto Pride. I also reported on EuroPride's 2022 Belgrade edition, where thousands of police officers, who mostly hated gay people, had to be brought into the city to ensure that violent counter-protesters did not beat the shit out of us. The event was nearly cancelled because of safety concerns, but I was determined to attend no matter what. I have volunteered countless hours, and put myself in physical danger, in defence of gay rights. You, on the other hand, have... written some angry social media posts? My criticisms of the LGBTQ activist class are rooted in real-world, personal experiences. When I moved in those circles, I witnessed how impractical, insane, and self-defeating those people were/are, which is why I demand better.

@d4nnytye @JoeGayHistorian It's mostly done by trans activists or feminists lately, by trying to appropriate gay struggles and clvictories for their own ends.

it is genuinely scary how the ‘gay men aren’t oppressed / never had to fight for their rights compared to other groups’ myth has propagated online, when it has no historical basis and no benefits for the wider community

@steveyuhas @ThatOtherJJ It's intentional. There's actual guidance to do so. Those guidances also discourage capitalizing White.

Nobody should be obligated to wear or promote something they don't believe in. Sports leagues are creating division by mandating these events. Let people peacably support or not support whatever.
The Athletic@TheAthletic

Several Giants players wrote Bible verses on their caps to respond to Pride Night. The gesture echoed a familiar pattern: making a night meant for inclusion about something else entirely. Read more for free, from @GrantBrisbee: nyti.ms/3Q23q8J

@realDonJunk You don't get to simply ignore current influence and power pride activists enjoy today, or erase and undermine the sweeping gains gay activism has made over the years. You are playing black and white politics.

@mfdruid It matters. See, Pride Month is a commemoration of the Stonewall Riots, an uprising of an historically oppressed group. The LGBTQ+ community still faces a significant degree of oppression. The oppressor is generally majority religious groups, in this case, American Christians.

@realDonJunk You arent listening. Your acting like we live in some christonationalist hellscape where no other ideologies hold any sway or influence. pride doesnt have to be "the most powerful" to hold significant power and influence in social, cultural, and political circles.

@mfdruid You are simply wrong. Sorry. Again, Christians are the most powerful identity group in the U.S. outside of white people. Nobody ever asks, "Can a Christian ever be president?" You can't continue to argue this without acknowledging that power dynamic.

@realDonJunk Again, doesnt address the question, and pretending that the cultural, social, and systemic power and influence pride and its supporters hold in the west is irrelevant just because other ideologies or demographs may hold wider influence shows argumentative weakness.

@mfdruid Because what you asked is completely irrelevant. On balance, homosexuality does not confer power in this society. Religiosity does.

People with DSD conditions, including intersex are male or female. Gender ideologues really should educate themselves before opening their mouths.
Daniel Lismore@daniellismore

Intersex people need to take the @EHRC to court. There’s more than 1 million of you in the United Kingdom. And none of you are included in their guide guidelines.

Boobs and a vaginas don't "make one a woman", but the ability to bear children to term is an ability exclusive to women. Not a single man can can do it.

This is a cope response. The reason is because SOS is attempting to strawman an argument by inferring that ones sex boils down to physical characteristics. When the only defining factor is which pathway one developed along, regardless of it ram to completion.
SpeakOutSister@speakoutsister

Me: tell me what physical characteristics make you a woman. Them: it's obvious. Me: tell me anyway Them: everybody knows Me: tell me anyway. Them: organised around producing large gametes Me: that isn't a physical characteristic Them: a broke lawnmower is still a lawnmower

@mfdruid Christians have a lot more power than gays in the U.S. It's not even close. American Christians are the most powerful victim group that has ever existed anywhere.

@realDonJunk No, both are protests against an imposition from higher ups. Are you really trying to argue that pride doesnt have a degree of social and institutional power and/or influence in the west?

@mfdruid I mean, that's not remotely what I said. One is a protest against power, one is a protest against less powerful. Oh, nobody's disputing they have the right to make the statements they want. Or at least, it should be that way.

The weirdest take is you didn't even include parents in your made up dichotomy. Imagine thinking an international corp or govt beaurocracy are the only options for "looking after" your kids. Give your kids to someone who'll be present in their lives. You surely arent.
Kirstie Allsopp@KirstieMAllsopp

The idea that our kids are safer being looked out for by Musk & Zuckerberg than a democratically elected government of the U.K. is the weirdest take I have ever come across in my life.

@mfdruid @EyeOnStalk It’s already optional. You can wear the standard cap in place of the “themed caps”. Can’t speak to wearing “42” tho. People still lost their minds when Treinen wore the standard Dodger cap instead of their pride hat. One of those “comply or you’re a bigot” situations.
