Ike Davis is a name that runs across my mind at least a few times a day. He was billed as the first baseman of the future for the Mets and even started to realize his potential at the MLB level. As a rookie in 2010 he put up 3.3 bWAR with 19 homers and 71 RBI with a .791 OPS. After that he managed a 32 homer season in 2012. Unfortunately injuries and especially a Valley Fever diagnosis burned out what could have been a bright star for the New York Mets.
