Technology and Maintenance had some much needed success today in troubleshooting the new scoreboard after it got hit by lightning last week. Pretty neat to work on a television from the inside. Though today, it doubled as a huge toaster as well.

Throwback Thursday circa 2003. A load of new Dell Computers and CRT monitors, with Jason Schmeski, current school board member when he was in Technology, and Keith Alman, still in Technology. Behind the camera was Steve Mendleski during some contracted help at that time.

@Moorlag We used code put together by Centipede, which is basically a key stroker that navigates thru each step of the enrollment. You modify the code before loading to the Arduino for your organization. You just plug it in and watch it configure your WiFi and enrollment credentials.

The Carting of Chromebooks! Our department was able to knock down the setup of a chromebook cart to 25 minutes, which includes unboxing, enrolling, and wiring of the 15 unit cart. A time consuming process, enrolling, was 99% automated using Arduino microprocessors.

We earned a good workout yesterday in the heat, transferring the 6 pallets of chromebooks inside our department for prep.
