CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: COHORT 3 MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATES TRAINING Mental Health and Wellness Kenya(@MHWKenya), in collaboration with the World Health Organization through the QualityRights E-Training, invites applications for Cohort 3 of the Mental Health Advocates Training. This training provides a comprehensive understanding of mental health, human rights, and community support systems as outlined in the WHO QualityRights initiative. Participants will learn how to promote rights-based mental health approaches, support people with lived experience, challenge stigma, and strengthen community care practices. The program follows the WHO QualityRights curriculum, which includes modules on recovery, legal capacity, community inclusion, and improving the quality of mental health and social services. Training Details: Target Audience: Anyone committed to mental health advocacy, including students, community leaders, caregivers, health workers, teachers, people with lived or caregiving experience, and individuals passionate about creating safer, more supportive environments. Participants will complete the WHO QualityRights E-Training and take part in guided discussions facilitated by Mental Health and Wellness Kenya to help apply what is learned into real community action.
