We just published a new report raising the alarm about the foreign influence activities of the Israeli government, which has been engaging in deception and covert ops to intervene in Canadian public affairs. The report, titled “Israeli Foreign Influence, Intervention, and Transnational Repression in Canada,” also looks at Israel’s repressive targeting of its critics outside of its borders, including advocating for restrictions on Canadians’ democratic rights. For too long, Canada's political debates on foreign interference have excluded Israel's actions from scrutiny, revealing a dangerous double standard. 🇫🇷 في باريس سائحة تعرضت لاغتصاب جماعي من قبل 5 رجال، ثم هربت باتجاه محل كباب تركي طلبًا للمساعدة. لكن أحد المعتدين تبعها إلى نفس المحل وجلس يطلب طعامًا وكأن شيئًا لم يكن! عمال المحل والزبائن التركيين تدخلوا بقوة، وضربوه باللكمات حتى هرب. السائحة أُدخلت المستشفى وأجّلت رحلتها. مشهد يثير الغضب والحزن في آن واحد. الاعتداء الجماعي جريمة وحشية، والتدخل السريع من عمال المحل يظهر تضامنًا إنسانيًا مشرفًا. الجريمة تذكرنا مرة أخرى بمخاطر الأمان في بعض المدن الأوروبية الكبرى. هل تعتقدون أن مثل هذه الحوادث أصبحت متكررة في المدن الأوروبية؟
